This is a picture of my wife, Margaret, taken at our eldest daughter’s wedding in 2017.
Margaret and I were married at Sutton Baptist Chapel, Suffolk, on the 24th August 1974! (I was 21 and Margaret was 20)
We have four children, who are children no longer of course. We now have six grandchildren!
I like Motorcyles
My last bike was a BMW R1100RS, not unlike the one in this picture
Sadly, the bike and I parted company on the M25 in April 2008, when somebody (in a car, of course) changed lanes without noticing I was already there! It could have been worse – the bike was written off but I wasn’t!
When I told the boss I had saved up enough for a replacement I was told, in no uncertain terms, that my motorcycle ownership days were over! (I still have all the gear hanging in my wardrobe, though;-))
